On April 7-24 Mercury will move into the watery sign of Pisces. This holds both challenges and opportunities Mercury is the least functional, or “debilitated” sign for Mercury. Before you get too worried you might want to know that Albert Einstein had Mercury in Pisces! He was a great thinker and actually said that the theory of relativity occurred to him in a flash of intuition. It took him many, many years later to actually prove his theory. I also need to add that Einstein had a number of corrections of debilitation in his chart which gave him the imagination and vision (Pisces) to intuit they theory, but also the analytical skills of Mercury to prove the theory. (Rumor has it that he also couldn’t match his socks or clothing most of the time.)
So what does this mean for all of us at this time? I would say first of all to take some time now to back up computers or whatever else, as Mercury in Pisces is not as supportive to technology and communication. This will be especially true on April 11 when there is a direct Saturn aspect on Mercury as well. I would also say that this is a time when we might all really be feeling more optimistic about the Corona virus because Jupiter rules Pisces. However certain individuals could be much more vulnerable at this time, so we need to use our logic and stay sheltered in place! Since Mercury is the natural ruler of the 6th house, this is specifically showing that health systems could be more compromised at this time too.
So what is the good side of Mercury in Pisces? This is a really good time to connect with your intuition more. You might have more insights, or even dreams that reveal things to you in a non-linear sort of way. Mercury in Pisces is very supportive of spiritual growth and is quite philosophical. Non-verbal communication is supportive like art and music. You can access your imagination at this time and delve deep into other states of consciousness.
So what can you do after you back up all of you computers, phones, and gadgets? Pick up a paint brush or a musical instrument, write down your dreams, write poetry, meditate, read spiritual or philosophical books. Visualize everyone on the planet surrounded my love and grace. Also see if you can access your intuition at this time. Find direct guidance into what is the meaning of your life in this time period we are living through, that is actually ripe with opportunity. Einstein said “We cannot solve our problems with the same thought we used when we created them.”
I have really been enjoying connecting with a few of you who need guidance at this time. In my coaching practice I use a number of approaches that help people find greater abundance, strengthen spiritual connection, overcome fears and insecurities, and challenge limiting beliefs and assumptions. During this “shelter in place” time I am offering these services on a sliding scale basis. Please get in touch with me if I can help you in some way.
